1. Trusses –
From standard duo fink trusses to room in the roof Attic trusses, we are able to provide comprehensive designs to suit the customer's needs. We specialise in the design supply and erection of Timber Trusses nationwide and have worked on projects ranging from small house extensions to projects valuing over £500,000-00. Please see our supply and fix page on 'what we do' for full details.
2. Glulam Beams (laminated beams) -
The natural alternative to steel or concrete.
Glulam is made by gluing together, under pressure and heat, laminates of timber that have been accurately planed. The resulting product is strong, stable and corrosion proof with significant advantages over structural steel and concrete. Glulam is often used in arenas, balcony roofing, cambered beams, halls and arched beams, pillars and columns, roof beams and rafters.
3. I Joists –
Also called I-beams, are construction beams with an I or H shape cross-section. An I-Joist is an engineered timber joist, which combines an engineered composite panel with high-grade softwood. I Beams are available in a range of common industry sizes with a range joist depths (145mm to 450mm). Advantages of I Joist Flooring include excellent strength to weight ratio, stable & quiet flooring, are easy to work with and come in lengths up to 12m.
4. Bolted Feature Trusses –
These are commonly used to improve the aesthetics of a building and can be manufactured from large section quality timbers such as Oak, Larch, Douglas Fir or Glulam.
Positioned at wider centres than traditional trusses, Feature Trusses can either be connected at their joints with steel bolted brackets or designed with a mortice and tennon joint for a natural look. The finished truss provides structural support for the chosen roof covering whilst adding visual appeal to the finished construction, with the ceiling of the Truss on show.
Our experienced team of joiners can either assemble these trusses off site and tranport or manufature in situ, on site. All design works for Architect & Engineer approval can be undertaken as part of the service we provide.
5. Timber Frame -
Timber Frame is a widely-used structural building method offering a fast, eco-friendly, highly-insulated building solution. We are able to offer a full supply and fix service from the design stage right through to handover and have worked on projects ranging from single story extensions too full new build housing projects.
6. Internal Joinery –
We offer a full Internal Joinery sevice in the Northwest region and undertake all areas of Joinery works from doors, skirting boards and architraves to reception counters, feature pergolas and decking.
